My first commission during lockdown (which I’ve extremely grateful for) by a family friend and local doctor from Grantown for his wife. It’s quite a grand 6/8 march - quite pipey, but also a bit like a big a fast waltz, a big Gaelic ceilidh song. The family is keen on piping so I asked great Scottish piper Ross Ainslie, to do his wonders on writing all the pipe grace notes for me, so that the tune could be played easily by pipers
